What a timely thought and facts about the just falling great mind, indeed he has fought the good fight and now resting.A food for thought for us all still fighting the race.
So grateful to God for this outstanding servant of the African Church, for his stimulus to the wider church through his scholarship, not least his leadership of the ABC project, and the formative role he’s played at NEGST to the benefit of so many postgraduate students, from Africa and beyond, preparing for diverse ministries throughout Africa. May the Lord comfort his family and all who mourn his loss, and may he raise up other such leaders to carry forward his ministry and influence throughout Africa and the worldwide church.
Sounds like a remarkable man… I am thankful that the African Church had him for so long.
Dr. Adeyemo truly impacted me on tackling life issues and challenges. His spirit, humour and energy inspite of his old age encouraged me. Thanks rest safely with the Father.
As a teenager in 1985, I attended a conference in Wellington, New Zealand, where Dr Adeyemo was the principal speaker. In all his actions and words, he was honest, practical and filled with God’s Holy Spirit. I never forgot his heart for the lost and his very humble attitude. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
i heard of this reportedly departed man of GOD this week from the radio. a good year after his departure. Too late to meet with him on this side of heaven and benefit from him. But not too late to add my thanks to the LORD for the life and ministry of Dr Adeyemo. Dear Lord, there is still to do. Raise from Brother Adeyemo’s students many like him, because he was so much like You from what i hear!
